Jeremy Mabbitt - Managing Director
Jeremy Mabbitt founded Codefarm to lead in the commercialisation of evolutionary
computing, finding ways to make better use of the power of modern computers to
solve previously intractable scientific problems.
Prior to working for Codefarm, Jeremy was Senior Software Engineer at
Cognitive Applications, a software and media firm founded to commercialise
knowledge engineering and expert systems. Jeremy has also worked for CyberLife
Technology, the artificial life software company that was responsible for the
hit game Creatures.
“Setting up Codefarm has enabled me to pursue two of my great passions —
artificial intelligence and the practical application of knowledge,” said
Jeremy. “It is very exciting to be part of a company that is a
real innovator in its field.”
Jeremy read evolutionary computing as a postgraduate at the University of
Sussex and studied engineering at St John’s College, Oxford and Exeter University.
